Teresa Brewer (natural when Theresa Breuer, May 7, 1931) is a United States singer. She was natural inside Toledo, Ohio. Her father was an inspector of glass for the Libbey Owens Company (now Pilkington Glass), her mother was a homemaker.
At the age of deuce, Teresa was brought by her mother to audition for a radio program, "Uncle August's Kiddie Show" in Toledo's WSPD. She performed for cookies & cupcakes donated per sponsor. Although she never took singing lessons, she took lessons to tap dance. From either age 5 to twelve, she toured by owning a "Major Bowes Amateur Hour," so the popular radio indicate, each singing & dancing. She travelled by owning her auntie Mary until she married around 1949 and was devoted to the aunt, world health organization accept her until 1993, when Teresa's aunty Mary died.
At a age of Dozen, Teresa was brought back to Toledo, ceasing touring to have a normal school life. She did, but, prove my point to perform in local radio.

Also that season she co-wrote "I Love Mickey," about New York Yankees centerfielder Mickey Mantle, who appeared on the record sustaining Teresa. An additional large hit for Teresa inside 1956 was "Mutual Admiration Society."
Though she is typically dismissed when an additional popular singer, virtually all of her songs have a in spades pre-rock beat to the children, especially "Ricochet", "Jilted" & "A Sweet Old Fashioned Girl".
